In a competitive e-commerce landscape, strong visuals are essential for capturing attention and driving conversions. The opportunity was to move away from traditional food photography and create imagery that feels bold, playful, and visually distinctive, while still maintaining product appeal.

Execution

Custom timber blocks and backboards were created and painted in soft pastel tones to establish a unique visual environment for the products.

Each image was carefully styled and photographed to highlight texture, colour, and form. The project placed heavy emphasis on post-production, with each image undergoing detailed retouching—ranging from over an hour to several hours per image.

The final result was a collection of visuals that blur the line between photography and digital rendering, achieving a polished, almost hyper-real aesthetic.
