- Creative Direction
- Videography
- Photgraphy
Our collaboration with No Sleep Ent centered on the Asteria project, a visionary endeavor to introduce techno and minimal music genres into the Asian scene. The concept evolved from creating an intimate warehouse atmosphere to crafting the vibrant energy of a festival setting. The challenge was not just to document these events but to forge a strong, consistent brand identity through our visual storytelling. Our role extended beyond basic event coverage; we were tasked with managing media teams, and producing a variety of content including photos, videos, and dynamic visuals.
Event Portfolio
- Asteria: The flagship event, embodying the core concept of minimal techno in an Asian context.
- Bass Horizon: Focusing on deeper, bass-driven sounds.
- Hard Nation: Catering to fans of harder, more intense music styles.
- Bassline Adelaide: Bringing the unique Asteria vibe to Adelaide.
- ILOVE and ilovernb: Exploring different facets of love and rhythm in music.
Insight & Outcome
Our approach was to capture the essence of each event, highlighting the unique atmosphere and energy that defined them. From the pulsating rhythms of Asteria to the diverse beats of Bass Horizon and Hard Nation, our photography and videography aimed to encapsulate the mood and spirit of these gatherings. The challenge was to maintain a cohesive brand identity across all events, ensuring that each piece of content resonated with the overarching vision of No Sleep Ent.
The visual content created for the Asteria series successfully conveyed the transformative journey from a small-scale warehouse setting to a full-fledged festival scene. The imagery and videos not only served as a dynamic record of these events but also played a crucial role in solidifying the brand’s presence in the Asian techno and minimal music scene.
